Based in Henderson, Western Australia, Forgacs leverages Civmec’s current 29,300m2 fabrication facility  – the largest undercover fabrication facility in Australia. The new-look Forgacs is entering a new phase of growth and development.

During the past seven years Civmec has established its reputation as a highly efficient, innovative fabrication and infrastructure company. They have invested over AUD$60million in equipment and infrastructure, whilst consistently beating rival fabrication yards here and overseas, by producing superior quality products and ensuring fabrication jobs remain in Australia.

Civmec has committed to an additional private investment of AUD$80million in a new 29,000m2 Forgacs shipbuilding facility (due for completion in 2019). This new facility is adjacent to the WA State Government Australian Marine Complex (AMC), which is home to a 4,600MT floating dock. Together, this will see Civmec and Forgacs holding approximately 200,000m2 of land and facilities making it the largest strategically placed fabrication and shipbuilding precinct in Australia, supporting continuous naval shipbuilding, naval service & maintenance and ensuring it becomes a global exporter of Australian manufacturing. For more details on this new facility see our Forgacs Video from April 2017.

Tooling within our fabrication facility is second to none within Australia. We own and operate some of the most technological advanced machinery. To view a full listing please click here.
